Eminent Frog Porridge – Juay Hong Lao

The food is decent, interesting for a tourist to try one of the better frog porridge in Singapore, but not worth the queue for a local. Atmosphere-wise, it’s typical Singapore coffee-shop heat and noise, so nothing to brag about.

The food has lost its Michelin bib gourmand recently so it speaks of the diminishing standards as observed by some of the regulars. I personally do not agree with people who make a lot of money and evade taxes (the owner has been charged for evading millions of dollars in taxes that could have been used to improve the quality of living for thousands of Singaporeans). So I will not return.
