Space & Time Cube+ sits on the basement floor of Seacon Bangkae Mall in Bangkok, and it is one of the most surreal immersive art experiences in the city 🌌
The concept comes from Shanghai and features over 20 rooms spread across around 1,500 square meters. You get glasses-free 3D projections, a mirror maze, a starry ocean, a dream staircase and a huge LED tunnel that goes from glaciers to neon cyber cities and dinosaurs 🪞
Tickets range from about 199 to 599 baht depending on the package, and it is open daily from around 10:30am to 9:30pm. There is also a 9D rail cinema and an optional VR game if you want to stay longer 🎟️
To get there, take the MRT to Phasi Charoen station, which brings you right to the front of Seacon Bangkae. It is on the Thonburi side, far from the usual tourist crowds, so it is a real hidden gem in Bangkok 🚇
Same day, add Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen in the same district. This royal temple was founded in 1610 and its 32,000 sqm grounds hold an 80 meter stupa with a dazzling interior hall and a 69 meter bronze Buddha. Entry is free, it is open daily from 8am to 6pm, and you should dress respectfully 🛕
